The second class in our series. Biodiesel 201 is the introduction to hands-on biodiesel. We show the basic chemistry of biodiesel, making several batches onsite. The "sample batch" process is an integral part of home biodiesel production and is a simple, visible illustration of what is going on in any biodiesel reactor.

Prerequisite: Biodiesel 100 (Intro. to Biodiesel) or familiarity with Biodiesel use.

Energy and Biodiesel People brought retail biodiesel to the Metro Area,
Northfield and St. Cloud with innovative partnerships between fueling
stations, petroleum distributors, and our wide customer and advocacy
base. Instructors Kai Curry and Reed Aubin have 5 years of experience
in biodiesel marketing, distribution, production, and education, both
in the U.S. and abroad. They present a practical, critical approach to
sustainable fuel systems, with a broad approach encompassing technical,
economic, and environmental aspects.
The class is held at the Ivy Building, Suite 229, at 2637 27th Avenue South in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis.
