Our servers are completely under our control, which ensures reliability (including running scripts for problem identification 24-hours a day). For server administration, SE uses client accessible software such as cPanel & WebHost Manager; proven platforms which allow us the most constant vigilance over our client websites. SE does not employ any kind of automated, unmonitored sign-up, which could be open to the public (and spammers). SE has a policy of not overselling server space, and we do not allow abuse of the CPU and other system resources. SE will continually review every hosted account, guaranteeing that a Client’s website will be in good company as it joins the world wide web.

Our Servers: Clustered, Linux OS servers with 3GHz 64 Bit Dual-Core AMD processors, 8GB of ECC DDR Ram, Hardware RAID 5 10,000RPM storage devices. With RAID 5 one drive can fail without any data being lost. Protection against a natural disaster or multiple drive failure is implemented using an off-site “live mirror” of the entire hosting account that maintains less than a 30-minute delay. Both datacenters house the equipment in server vaults.

Managed Customer Support – consists of setup of the hosting account, mail accounts, domain name configuration & transfer, and basic server interface maintenance. Support tickets are serviced during business hours within 24 hours of request.

SE holds bulk accounts with Domain Name registrars and are thus able to make these purchases more cheaply on behalf of clients. A charge is incurred for the cost of each domain name, and the service of making the purchase.

The Drupal software system, which Sundays Energy uses for all websites,is the most powerful open-source CMS available today, capable ofdriving complex as well as simple websites. Whereas a proprietary(privately developed) CMS comes “ready out of the box”, the Drupalsystem must be configured to meet the needs of the client, a relativelysimple operation that usually does not even approach the purchase costof a private CMS (Proprietary CMS also require configurationpost-purchase).

Access to Wide Range of Functionality:
Another important benefit of working with open-source tools is thatparticipants may access thousands of programs and sub-programs. Aclient organization, which invests in an open-source solution isessentially working to facilitate the development of these publiclyavailable tools. This access to thousands of professional programmerswho create the tools affords unparalleled flexibility.

What this means for an organization with a Drupal website is that asthe needs associated with the online presence grow and change, they areequipped with astounding flexibility. The Drupal platform is the mostversatile of the open-source CMS options available, with thousands of“modules” available to do just about anything.

Another implication of the Drupal system is that a client pays for aservice, rather than a product. Configuration and Community of Developers
Both open-source and proprietary software require support andconfiguration, but the lessons learned in the configuration of theopen-source system become public knowledge, immediately integrated intothe software development process. For example, Sundays Energy, whiledeveloping a Drupal e-commerce site for a client, assists in developingthe free Ubercart software “module” for e-commerce: giving feedback tothe project developers, testing versions, and generally improvingfunctionality. Extended Module Feature Set: The following features are included with the Drupal Install, but require some additional configuration and customization. SE has found that the most efficient way to customize features is to do so while training the Client in the use of the site, thus providing custom-tailored functionality while empowering the Client to regularly update the site content. (For clients who wish to have SE perform continued site content management, SE will configure the site without including a training component). Available Modules are listed below, along with estimates of the time required to configure them and train the Client in their use.

“Modules”, such as those listed above, are functions of the Content Management System that provide functionality to display different kinds of information. Examples of modules may be a ‘calendar’ function which allows events to be listed, ‘blog’ for users to write regular updates, ‘forum’ which allows users to comment on , or ‘e-commerce’, which allows users to engage in commercial transactions through a series of payment gateways and security authentication. With the Drupal CMS, a variety of modules may be used with the system with various ease. Simple modules are often ready-to-use, and SE charges merely the set-up cost. More complex modules allow for deeper functionality, such as e-commerce or CRM (Constituent Relationship Management). These incur higher costs because they require some specific development work on the site by SE designers and programmers.

Bandwidth refers to the capacity for this data to be accessed by visitors to the web page. Additional monthly bandwidth will be provided for your use.

To guarantee this monthly data transfer is possible and available to your site we guarantee a percentage of a 3 megabit per second or greater port to your site. 1000 kilobits of port speed is needed to transfer 320 GB of traffic over a 30 day period. Or, about 3.2 kilobits of port speed is needed to transfer 1 gigabyte over 30 days. In the real world you need about three times the port speed to realistically transfer the data! Sundays Energy allocates 10 kilobits of port speed per 1 gigabyte of monthly transfer. Other providers offer 3.2kbit per 1gig.

For example, accounts with 10GB of monthly transfer are guaranteed 100 kilobits of speed but still allowed to burst up to 3000 kilobits. Bursting is based on availability. As an average you will see burst speeds of 1000 to 2500kbits per second. For a comparison dialup is 56 kilobits, a T1 is 1500 kbits, while DSL and cable modems can reach download speeds that burst from 1500 to 8000 kilobits (8mbit) per second, but only upload at 400-800 kilobits. Keep in mind that during peak times the guaranteed port speed will be split by all the users of your site and bursting speed is shared by all users on the server or rack.

The more monthly transfer the higher the port speed. The higher the port speed the faster your site will transfer to the browser. For 100% guaranteed speeds of 1000 kilobits per second (burstable to 3000kbit based on availability), your account will need at least 100GB of monthly transfer. 300GB will guarantee speeds of 3,000kbit. This methodology is used up to 1,000GB of monthly transfer and 10,000kbit port speed. Keep in mind that you will need a dedicated server (or two) long before you actually transfer that much data. If you purchase internet access through Sundays Energy transfers over that internet connection WILL NOT count against your monthly transfer limit.

The views module provides a flexible method for Drupal sitedesigners to control how lists of content (nodes) are presented.Traditionally, Drupal has hard-coded most of this, particularly in howtaxonomy and tracker lists are formatted.

Drupal core maintenance. Only available for Sundays Energy Green Web Hosting accounts that have Drupal installed. Like anti-virus software, or regular updates for a computer’s operating system. This protects the website’s software from outside aggressors by keeping Drupal core and primary modules up-to-date.

Keep your contributed modules up-to-date and secure.

Many sites around the world are using the modules installed on your website. Features and bug fixes are occasionally added to the software package. This product allows us to install the latest software each month on up to 5 of your modules. We will install the new updated version, run the update script, and ensure proper functionality of the module. This may be purchased at the time of updates, or add it to your monthly hosting bill for constant update coverage.

If something goes wrong and the client identifies a bug, we will submit a report to the drupal community. If the bug is fixed it will be updated onto your site during the next update. Let's say the client pays for modules to be updated on the 10th of each month. If the client notices a bug on the 15th, we will submit a bug report to the drupal community within 48 hours. If the bug is fixed and released before the 10th of the next month, it will be installed during the next update. If the community never fixes the bug, it will remain broken on the site. The updates include all fixes and security updates from everyone in the community.

The set of five modules can change from month to month. This service is to update modules with the latest versions and report any bugs to the community. This doesn't cover having Sundays Energy fix any issues with code and submitting patches to the community.

This product needs to be purchased for a minimum of one year, and implemented on a site with the latest Ubercart vesion (branch 1 or 2) installed.  On an existing site, Ubercart will need to be updated to the current version first before this product can be purchased.

One Ubercart upgrade. As ubercart develops and features are added we will install the new version and enable those features for you. Updates Ubercart to the next full version, which would include upgrading from 1.x. to 2.x. This covers core modules and may include contributed modules, depending on the the specifics of the site. Custom modules are not included in this product.

Flash design is available, in formats, which may be integrated with the Drupal database as well as performing independently. All Flash projects have a minimum charge of $600.00

User-customizable Flash programming, based on the Drupal database. Flash animation on the website draws directly from the Drupal database, meaning that the Client can update the contents of the Flash animation (text of images) through the CMS interface. All Drupal-Flash projects have a minimum cost of $700.00.

This process requires highest-level specialized designer-programmer time to make it work. The complexity of the project will depend on the complexity of the data that the flash animation will pull from. Pulling from a single paragraph of text, for example, will require much less programming time than multiple paragraphs, or an entire image gallery. Billed by the hour.

This package provides a unique home page design -- generated from client communication and our own sensibilities -- including up to three free revisions. Once the proof has been approved, any additional changes will be billed hourly.

This package is most effective when the client is a single decision-maker who has the ability to communicate effectively about the kind of design they want. They should also understand the limitations imposed by a constrained budget, and in those cases be able to accept a modified version of a single design idea. The theme will be developed with the client through meetings, utilizing various techniques to identify preference, tastes, and optimal directions for the design.

Two designed themes, based on description or examples given by Client. Themes are static images representing how the design will look. Proofs of the two designs will be sent to the Client for approval. This package includes adjustments to initial themes until client is satisfied. If Client requires more examples or ideas, an added fee will be incurred for additional designed themes. Client will sign off on final designed theme in order to commence programming, any additional changes will be billed hourly.

Package 2 is usually the most effective solution for a site designed to the clients’ exacting specification, where artistic precision is at a premium, or where multiple stakeholders wish to have a say in the artistic elements of the site. It affords the client greater participation in the design process, and affords the freedom to discover new ideas for the site through the process.

A website may function with one home page applied broadly throughout the site, but many clients prefer the look and feel to change slightly in the different sections of the website. Billed per concept for each individual page. The client will be presented with a proof. Once the proof is approved any additional design will be billed hourly. Differently styled “Inside Pages” or "sub-pages" may include, but are not limited to the following areas:

• Customized “about us” page
• Custom calendar display
• Specialty product and/or catelog page
• Dynamic product display page (advanced grouping of products)
• Customized image gallery,
• Customized crm display (welcoming interface for volunteers, members, etc.)

Design elements of the site as a whole: attention to how sections of the website interact and relate to one another, and how a user encounters the site and navigates through it. For example, content design will link the display of individual products in e-commerce with background information, related information, and other products. This rate is for design-phase work user flow; implementation of database-driven product bundling, dynamic user-activated pages and similar functions will be billed as programming/development. Price listed is per site section.

You may pick from available Drupal themes in the SE library, which, in order to partake of any custom features, may require:

• Additional meetings for revisions: ($80/hour)
• Designer time for changes: $80/hr.
• Only recommended for a single decision-maker, looking for a very basic site with few custom design elements, OR an individual with working knowledge of at least CSS and HTML.

Billed per individual theme

Additional work beyond the processes detailed either of the “Package” processes. May include graphics-intensive design, response to indecision on the part of the client, generating additional concepts beyond the scope of initial packages, or piecemeal work or changes to websites, which previously exist. Billed in 15-minute increments.

Basic Logo Design includes two or more logo concepts, which are submitted to the client for review. More options are available at the sketch stage. Market research not included. The service consists of generating a logo from clear ideas that the Client may have. Three revisions of the logo are included. Final logo design will be property of the Client. All other proofs and/or concepts that were developed will be property of Sundays Energy. If Client prefers to obtain all proofs, a fee will be applied for each additional logo sketch or illustrator file.
